Covid 19 Deaths register here for compensation: Economic migrants or contract migrant workers need a decent Return, Rehabilitation, and Re-Integration into their communities – not forced repatriation or deportation. The COVID crisis aggravated the vulnerability of these workers and exacerbated the perennial non-payment of wages and end-of-service benefits, giving way to massive wage theft. Thousands of migrant workers were forced to return without wages, social security or indemnities during the pandemic with their lives and livelihoods sent on a downward spiral and hindering the upward social and economic mobility they sought to bring to their families. This also impacted the slow but steady economic prosperity their countries of origin were witnessing thanks to their diligent remittances. Exposed to the chaos unleashed by the pandemic, many in foreign lands succumbed to the virus feeling alone and in chains, unable to protect their families, under-compensated or even uncompensated by their foreign employers or governments. If you have undergone wage theft, please fill up the case form at the Help Desk. Please be sure to include any documentation or pieces of evidence for our counselor. We will earnestly endeavor to have your grievance redressed with the appropriate authorities.
